Saturday, October 25, 2014, the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards will be partnering to host the 2014 Los Angeles Financial Planning Day. Members of the community will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with financial planners to discuss their personal finance questions. This is a pro-bono event with no strings attached. There will also be workshops covering topics such as:
- Credit: The Untold Story
- Real World Retirement Planning
- Investing Basics: Be A Smart Investor
- Budgeting 101: Life’s Balancing Act
In addition to volunteering for one on one sessions, Eric will be conducting the workshop, Investing Basics: Be A Smart Investor. This is the fourth time that Navigoe Partner and Director of Wealth Management, Eric Toya, will be volunteering for the Financial Planning Day. The first was in 2010 in Denver, where he was featured in a video highlighting the event.
