To journey to an end is fine, but it’s the journey that matters in the end.

My Background and what brought me here…

For almost two decades in the financial sector, I have serviced foundations, family offices and high net worth individuals in the areas of Investor Relations, Compliance and Business Development.  My experience has been with reputable firms, alongside smart and successful financiers in the Los Angeles area.  Making my way to the South Bay had been my goal for quite some time. Navigating change and leaving my former firm of 10+ years was hard but I found my way to this beautiful house, I now call home.

Why I chose this profession…

I am the child of immigrant parents.  My parents stressed by word and example, the importance of hard work, education and perseverance.  While at Loyola Marymount University, I found myself motivated by my entrepreneurial parents, yet curious about the corporate giants.  I knew a degree in Business Administration would be versatile and provide the foundation I needed to get started regardless of the direction I chose.  My first job after college was at Bear Stearns & Co., where I quickly learned to work in a fast pace environment, providing services to sophisticated investors while building trusting relationships.  I’m proud to say that my hard work and loyalty led to advancement and built long lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues.

Outside of work, I’m most passionate about…

My family! Spending time with my husband and two young boys is what brings me ultimate joy, along with my parents, sister and extended family. I look forward to weekly family dinners hosted by my mother, who happens to be the best cook!  If you want to see for yourself, visit her tortilla factory and eatery near LAX/Westchester for lunch and fresh tortillas made daily.

When not in the office, look for me…

  • Striving to maintain balance as a professional, mom, wife, daughter and friend…
  • Running after my active boys; being “Team Mom” and supporting their sporting interests i.e., baseball, lacrosse and soccer.
  • Teaching our young golden retriever Cody tricks and most importantly manners!
  • Working on DIY home renovation projects with my handyman husband – channeling our inner Chip & Joanna Gaines (HGTV).
  • Meal planning and cooking with new and clean recipes.
  • Reading and listening to podcasts and while getting in a good workout!

 How I’m advancing my career knowledge…

I believe it’s important to keep current with trends in financial operations and technology, as well as to increase efficiency within our practice.  Continuing education in these is a must and  at the forefront of Navigoe’s service model.  I find seminars, webinar and publications across various social media platforms beneficial.
