MY BACKGROUND AND WHAT BROUGHT ME HERE…

Originally from The Great White North, I studied Television Broadcast Communications and followed my aspirations to Hollywood. After producing television for over twenty years and traveling the world, it was time to pursue my new dream of starting a family.

Living the dream in the South Bay with my husband and two children is surreal, and I still pinch myself when I see palm trees and dolphins. We get to live here! Although I miss my family and the snowy winters in Canada, I love being a part of the South Bay community and meeting the people who make it tick.

Always open to new adventures and opportunities, I thrive on educating myself through new experiences and the experts behind them. With the financial world being a complete pivot for me from the entertainment industry, I was drawn to Navigoe and their CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners as a team to learn from. Their compassionate culture, philosophies and high-level of expertise is something I’m proud to be a part of.

OUTSIDE OF WORK, I’M MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT…

Family, friends, road trips, and the great outdoors! Combining all those ingredients makes me a happy camper. Creating memories while exploring new places and breathing fresh air makes for a perfect day.

HOW DO MY SKILLS IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY HELP ME AT NAVIGOE…

It’s not an obvious step to go from creating television shows or raising a family to diving into the financial industry.  However, the skills required to succeed with our clients are imperative.

All positions require thinking ahead and having a backup plan. As a producer or a parent, you never know what the day or year will bring! The same applies when assisting our clients as they attain their financial goals in an ever-changing world.     

Being kind and compassionate are a must.  Obviously, this goes without saying as a parent but when trying to rally a production team to give their best at all hours of the night, you get more flies with honey! At Navigoe, it is our top priority to treat our clients with respect, honesty and compassion. 

Experiential learning.  This one is my favorite.  As a TV producer, I was able to learn so much from the talent I interviewed and worked with.  From chefs and athletes to home design and construction.  I was excited to learn something new every day and have a greater appreciation for who someone is.  As a mother, every day is a learning experience, and from what I hear from our clients with older children, it never stops.  At Navigoe, I’m immersed in a new field and surrounded by experts with knowledge to share.  I look forward to getting to know our clients and helping make their experience with Navigoe award-winning.
